Business Supporting Schools

Businesses Supporting Schools (BSS) is how local companies help support SPARK-Larkspur Schools Foundation and connect with our more than 900 district families. Hundreds of businesses – both large and small – have joined the BSS team to demonstrate their commitment to raising the level of educational programs for our children.

Last year, thanks to the support of our local and parent-owned businesses, the BSS program raised over $110,000 for the Foundation. This year, SPARK is going to the extra mile to promote our leading BSS members so our district families can support those companies that support our schools.

Participating businesses can receive numerous benefits depending on their level of commitment, including:

• Advertising in the district-wide directory that is distributed to nearly 900 school families in the Fall, and based on your sponsorship level, advertising in the Spring Auction catalog.
• Recognition in the school newsletter, on-site at Neil Cummins Elementary and Hall Middle School and during school events.
• Listing on the SPARK website
• If you choose to sponsor a class, you’ll receive a Thank You! photo to proudly display.
• Many thanks from grateful families and students throughout the school year!

Advertising in the district directory is one of the most effective ways for your business to communicate your support of our schools to our more than 900 district families. In turn, parents are encouraged to support those businesses that helping to fund valuable programs for to their children in a difficult state budget year. And based on your level of contribution, the Foundation can partner with to reach area families.
